MY DIFFICULTY IN LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Improving skill in learning foreign language is not as easy as i learn my own native language. In Indonesia, English becomes popular language in every school because it is applied as one of the main material learning.

According to me, some difficulties must be found when practicing and learning foreign language regularly. Mastering foreign language does not need a short process but it needs an assiduous and understanding by more practicing gradually.

As the beginner, i realize that foreign language is a hard subject commonly but it will be a challenging to know. It is something interesting to learn and understand clearly. Although,  i have some problems in learning foreign language, i am interested in searching or solving the issues. It means that i can what i should do correct by my own self.

Here, i am going to tell what difficulty i have when learning foreign language. Listening, a hear adeptness, is a great issue which sticks on my weakness. Many times, i get some wrong predictions when trying to guess what the native speaker said. I mean it is not only a guessing word normally, but i have to be able to catch the words from strange pronounciation. Sometimes, i have to ask them to repeat the words based on the sentence they said.

Writing, a skill of developing some ideas and pouring them in essay or article, becomes the further issue for me. Rarely, i carry out on essay before getting an instruction or assignment from my teacher. Basically, i don’t have any intention or awareness in improving writing skill. Then , it is very difficult to pour some ideas in writing instead of having a good understanding in grammatical.

Vocabulary is the core point of mastering foreign language. Generally, i add or memorize some new words, phrases or expressions then apply them in speaking material temporarily. Meanwhile for further improvement, those will be lost easily because i never review all vocabularies i memorized before.
